The lazy people do it in 2,5 hours. The real fighters take 4-5 hours of pain :-)
I've just finished the Dublin Marathon pushing my son in an adaptive wheelchair and got a PB 04:34:17
My advice would be to not stress if you don’t achieve your goals first time. I wanted sub 4 and my training times suggested I could do it. But nerves on race day lead to 4:58, 5:15, 4:18, 4:22, 4:08. I really didn’t think I could ever do it and wasn’t bother on marathon 6. Result: 3:57.
I don't know if you already have done one but it would be very appreciated to have a video about your marathon journey from where you started to your PB and until now maybe... like Floberg did. Truly inspiring
I used one of your plans to help me run NYC 2024 and it GREATLY helped! Took me 2 yrs to go from 4:43 to 3:48. Hopefully in another 2 years I can run sub 3!!!
My PB is at my only marathon I’ve ever done, which I completed in 4 hours 45 minutes and 4 seconds. Trying to focus on strength training and being as healthy as possible before targeting some goal races in 2025.
How to run your fastest marathon: caffeine. Probably. I don’t know. I’ve never run a marathon.
Ran my first marathon yesterday in 4hr 42min. The kast 12 km were brutal but got it done
I recently completed the Amsterdam marathon in 3:09:53. Desperate to push to sub 3 for next year!
Current PB 4hrs8mins. Going for sub-4 at Manchester in April.
