"I like me, I would buy me a drink." Great quote. Now I gotta get myself there. "All in all, I'm a pretty good dude." That I agree with. Now I gotta get friendlier with myself. I should treat me more like I would treat a friend.
In my opinion, these two were having two separate conversations. Chris was saying you have to do X, Y & Z to like yourself. Creek was saying, I like me regardless of X, Y and Z, and what I did in the past. I chose to like myself and integrate traits I like about others into myself, in order to like myself more. Not that you really have to do anything, just be and analyse yourself with more grace. I prefer Creek’s philosophy.
What I like is seeing these two men together, different ages and different life experiences...learning from each other
Im sitting here balling my eyes finally realising why I feel so horrible about myself. I snooze. I don't show up. I don't like myself.

“Arrogance is pride mixed with ignorance”. How ‘bout that for some self-reflective humble pie!?!
I don’t like myself at this time and pound but sitting in silence with a cigar helps a lot. Listening to this helps so much
I feel this. Thank you
Luv your Neighbour as yourself, thanks for this
I think it’s possible to just appreciate yourself outside of possessions, skills, mindsets, behaviours etc. Why put absolute confidence in things that can fade away or be stripped from you? We can love ourselves by simply being content, that we are a one of one human being. Truly unique. Nobody can take that from us.
