I’m only 5 minutes in and already paused twice just to take it in. The way Jeremy speaks about being sensitive to energy, crowds, and deep conversation. it’s like hearing someone finally put words to things you’ve always felt but never said out loud. This one’s going to sit with me.
Jeremy is that guy who seems surface level cool but has a treasure trove of deep thoughts
Jeremy is legit one of the real ones. The real deal. Not many of them left in “Hollywood” these days. I authentically appreciate him as a person.
Man, this one took a toll on me. I got hit by a car walking down the street and had a long 10-year mental recovery afterward. I don't remember getting hit. I don't remember all the first responders showing up and taking care of me. None of it. The first time I came to was when they were wheeling me into the ambulance, and I was in complete shock when they told me I got hit by a car. Apparently, I thought I was in Florida, even though it was the middle of winter in illinois. Now I just wish back in 2013 I knew all that I know now about trauma recovery, and maybe it wouldn't have taken 10 long years. On another note, I can't explain how grateful I am that I found this podcast and listen to it every day. I've had the chance to learn and grow from the stories and advice given. Absolutely no doubt in my mind. If it weren't for this podcast, I wouldn't be focusing on the right path for my future 👌
Jeremy Renner is a real life superhero. Such courage, hope, love, and optimism is inspiring.
It isn't often that someone I have "an idea" of in my head turns out to be exactly who I thought they were. His description of being completely aware and in control of himself during this experience, knowing that he needs to get his nephew to move his arm off his lung...that is exactly something I would expect a hero in a movie to do. Some Jason Bourne shit.
Just finished with Jeremy's talk with Rogan and then this treat pops up in my feed. ❤
Jeremy just proved not only was he a badass in his movies but also in real life.
