This man has single-handedly changed the lives of myself and my husband forever. Hubs has lost 45 pounds and I’ve lost 21 since we started low carb/keto lifestyles. We will never go back because we feel great and look years younger. Dr. Ekberg is a lifesaver. If you’re contemplating starting low carb/keto this year, just do it!! ❤

I've been intermittent fasting (between 16-20h per day) for almost 15 years now (at least 5 days a week). 5 years ago I started working as a RN at a hospital, and they have food EVERYWHERE...there's always cake, sweets, snacks and biscuits at every break 😀. I remember how hard it was the first days on the job to always say "no thanks, I'm fasting" and all the obese nurses were shocked and said "Really? I heard that's not healthy!" while munching down on a cookie 😀. I saw it as a test of willpower and nowadays I'm no longer tempted at all. So there is a habituation effect.
It’s nice to find a person on YouTube who speaks to me like an intelligent adult… he’s not yelling to me, he’s not talking down, he’s not “it’s my way or you’re a loser”… great channel.

Started with Intermittent Fasting about +3 years ago. Not gonna’ lie, I did it to loose weight/body fat. And it worked fantastically. Lost some weight at the start, then plateaued. Then started cutting carbs from the eating-period and lost the rest I set out to do. That was all in year-1. So why do I still do it.? Simply because I feel amazing! I feel free! No more sugar-addiction and all that goes with it. Plus I save money so it’s a win-win-win all year. Never going back to my old lifestyle again, this has changed my life for the better so why not keep going.?!😂
This is just how we're built. The concept of breakfast isn't even 100 years old, most people 100-150 years ago didn't wake up and eat, they woke up and went to work and ate around noon and then again at dinner which gave them around 19 hours of fasting every day. The food industry brainwashed us into thinking this is "starving".
In case you don't want to watch the whole video!! 1 cheating 2 lack of consistency 3 too much/not enough calories 4 ignoring nutritional needs 5 not hydrating
I eat once every 23 hrs. Diabetes’s gone.
