I went from 230 to 140. Then went back to 240 over 2 year of depression and grief over loss of loved ones and long job insecurity that resulted in a layoff of my whole department. Now 223 and try to lose weight again. The emotional connection to food is a significant factor for me apparently.
I see on YouTube all these videos saying calories don't matter which didn't make sense to me. This video puts the importance of calories into a much more enlightened perspective. Thank you.
I was diagnosed with diabetes in 2011 and pretty much ignored it. 2021 a new doctor put me on Ozempic and other insulins to treat my diabetes. I found Dr Fung and watched his videos and read "The Diabetes Code". In 3 months I lost 30 pounds and 4 inches off my waistline. Easting one meal a day and weekend fasting. Feeling better, glucose levels under control. Meeting with doctor to reevaluate my medications. Thank you Dr. Fung.
