Just watched the Car Nut doing maintenance on his newish Tundra. He is changing his oil every 2000 miles to "make sure", and the metal shavings I saw coming out of the rear differential with only 10,000 miles on the truck was telling. I miss the old days for sure.

Most consumers have the mindset of "it will never happen to me". I have the mindset of "it's going to happen to me."
My 1968 Ford F250 with a the carbureted 390 and 3 speed C6 transmission is working just fine, and has been for the past 35 plus years.
Rebuilding engines and transmissions and replacing everything under the sun on older vehicles is the way to go for the next 10-20 years. Once there's no way to get parts on older cars, we'll all just be sucked up into leasing these made-to-fail-early-af piece of s*** new cars.
Who would even entertain the idea of running a full size truck with a 2.7 L engine and then putting turbochargers on it

What is Covered: Engine, transmission, transfer case, drive shafts, differentials, and axles. This is a game changer. Dodge Ram are now becoming the more reliable truck and with this warranty more people can feel more comfortable for years instead of months.
