I have spent 30 years putting business words and actions into hard rules that could be repeated and audited, with “AI” they tried to do a uno reverse on deterministic systems.

I appreciate your truth-telling. It’s no question the worst era for tech. I’m on the data/content side (30 years in next year) and I’ve seen “AI” project descriptions that, well, exclude my function all together. Have fun folks! ☄️

executives and ceos have a dream of eliminating human errors and drama using technology and focus on what making money but the dream is ongoing since 2000 and AI won't make it reality anytime soon

The problem with AI and companies is them trying to force the answer onto everyone and them either ignoring the ramifications, or them thinking Ai or humans will quickly find a solution to any problem that the ai future "creates." What is also sad/something these companies are doing regardless of how well AI does is using it as leverage to get us human workers to stop asking for wage increases, all while our cost of living continues to skyrocket, too many companies going "it is just a dollar price hike" ... as if other companies aren't also doing this, they even leave the prices astronomically high even if their reason for the price hikes is no longer there. The whole system is flawed and honestly needs an overhaul, granted it isn't an easy fix, but it is one that is desperately needed.

it seems like Salesforce's features these days apparently just seems to involve collecting a bunch of data then getting it butterfingered to cybercriminals...
