Every kid in the 90’s wondered….who would win in a fight, the terrifying Perfect Organism that is the Xenomorph or the greatest predator alive…the predator 2004’s Alien Vs Predator finally gave us the chance to see the ultimate fight on the big screen. Though we’d had a comic series with the pair facing off against each other, this hand’t ever made it past the pages. Back then there were a lot of crossovers in the works and we were craving seeing characters in the same film. Batman name dropped Superman and Freddy and Jason faced off in 2003. But nothing had really come from the Xenomorph skull spotted at the end of Predator 2. With Ripley far in the future and the Predator not seen since 1990…it didnt feel like we’d be getting them any time soon. However when this was announced…fans like me went absolutely crazy. However the real fight was between the movie and the critics who panned it. Ooof.
