Dr. Huberman listens to music when he’s doing tough workouts, but I listen to his podcasts while I’m lifting weights! 😅 God bless him, my fav scientist.

I sleep to this podcast i don't know why but it works
There is an institute in Vienna and Berlin which is devoted to what they term "social aesthetics". Part of what they research is how the form of our physical environment affects well-being. In German, "Sozialästhetik".
Seeing how TikTok and reels are short circuiting attention spans, this episode was very much needed.
I so needed to hear this badly. Just at the right time . Doc has changed me for better through this podcast. Forever grateful for giving us this kind of useful information . Truly a boon to humanity.
Gregarious, light hearted discussion. Dr. Berman and Dr. Huberman share well with a similar tone.
This episode in one phrase: spend more alone in nature, preferably alone, no headphones.
Summary: spend time in nature 🌳🪷 I do mindfulness meditation. But the focus is not on the forehead but on the lower abdomen rising and falling with the breathing. Thich Nhat Hanh and Plum Village can provide more info. Meditation doesnt need to be a focus training. You can allow your mind to ruminate. There are many types of meditation. You can walk out in nature and ruminate and absorb the beauty and freshness of nature while meditating. You can either train your focus or go easy on yourself if you wanna rest your mind
