Megan needs more of these types of guests on here. Dr Saladinno is part of the low carb camp and same as the other guest. There would be so much less diabetes, immune diseases, heart events and more if the U. S. Adopted their discipline. I'm on ketovore and never felt and looked better at 50+
Mark Sisson is a hero- he’s been talking about this for over 20 years.
Lost my menopausal weight gain/pot belly (~20 lbs) by cutting out grains and processed carbs, along with some intermittent fasting (mostly 16:8). Now I enjoy a homemade dessert almost every day but still eat just 2 meals a day most days with no snacking and have easily maintained the loss. Lifting weights and lots of walking has also helped. I used to run marathons but don't run anymore and don't miss it. Life is more pleasant without being hungry/hangry all the time like I used to often feel between meals.
This is the Megyn I like to listen to! Great guests, super interesting, informative, educational, life changing information passed on to us! Loved it! Keep these coming, take a break from politics!!
I'm not a doctor but by experience I know that eating normal amounts of food, whitout crazy diets and walking 1 - 1 1/2 hours a day 5-6 days a week wiil keep us in good and healthy way. But there is also the stress factor. People use to say that in the past people lived longer because they eat helthier and that is true but back then people also didn't have the levels of stress we have know and they walked a lot more than we do now. Common sense is always important.
