Oh my goodness. Thank God someone has finally said this. As women we are told it is so hard to lose weight in your 40s. At 51, my metabolism has never been so efficient. Loving life!
Tips lower stress, deep sleep, intermittent fasting, eating less, more beans tomato and capers and onions..🎉
Intermittent fasting Move/exercise Eat less Eat quality food Beans, olive oil, tomato, onion, capers,
Gteat message! At 77 and a former RN (now a Healthy Longevity coach), I help inspire 50+ to stay strong, sharp, and thrive to 95+. So I focus on the 4 pillars of health: Nutrition, Strength training, Sleep, and Mental health (stress management).
I'm no doctor and never did studies on metabolism. However, I have seen siblings that grew up eating the same thing yet one is slender and one is obese. They do not have the same metabolism.
Mel, you are such a great interviewer! My father used to say: “leave the table feeling like you could eat a little more”. He had a lot of wisdom.
Stress is the silent sabateur running in the background like a hidden computer app constantly draining your cell phone battery except it's our daily energy 👀
Meanwhile my doctor is saying to cut out tomatoes and beans because of possible gut issues and not to fast because it’s bad for women in perimenopause. I cannot keep up with the conflicting info. 😭
This doesn't make sense. He says that age doesn't affect metabolism, but then said that babies' metabolism slows down after age 1 and then again at 60 years old?! 🤔
Hormones... loss of hormones definitely effect us
