So glad you did this...however as a former paramedic who became ♿ handicapped in 2012. The way people treat me differently now is shocking. They are often kind in openning doors or asking if i need anything .However i am treated as non existent or unimportant in meetings..my own confidence has been chipped away. When i mention elevators not working or the handicap chair to the pool not working. I am dismissed. Yet i watch a friend of mine with Charisma go in and things are fixed asap.

The pausing while talking thing is just how I talk because I have a hard time verbally expressing what is in my head. Much better with written communication. communication.
