There was a moment, quiet, nothing dramatic where I looked around and thought, Is this it? Same routine. Same paycheck. Same low-grade anxiety. I wasn’t lazy. I wasn’t unmotivated. I just didn’t know what to do next. Then someone I barely talk to DM’d me: “Not sure if this is your thing, but this book helped me figure some stuff out.” The book was Girl Boss Hustle: Earn 10k From Home. I bought it out of curiosity. Stayed up reading it until 2AM. It didn’t just teach me about money. It taught me about ownership, of time, of choices, of results. If you’ve been waiting for a sign, maybe this is it.
Owned my own house, my own business, lost it all went bankrupt. Built it all back again, then lost most again due to divorce. Rock bottom atm.. but ive done it once so i will rise again. Only difference is I'm 45 now! Have my good days and my bad.. but one life so not giving up! :-)
I have just starting University at 54! ❤
If anybody read this. Keep your head up and keep pushing. The only time you lose is when you give up.
I’m turning 47 this year. Just earned a bachelor’s degree in November 24 and am going back for a degree in accounting. Lost my family , No kids, divorced and spent a decade broken hearted. At this point in life, I’ve said FUCK it. I’m forging my own path and it looks like no one else’s so…just be you. Do your thing and live. I’m far from satisfied and ‘happy’ but I’m alive and convinced everyday that I’m about to turn a corner and find my purpose. It’s out there. ❤
46 decided to finish my masters just started and will be going for my PhD age is just a number
I finished my grade 12 when i was 37 years. Went to university and finish my diploma at 40 . Now i am running my own tutoring business and feel great . Life is amazing it like I woke up from sleep...Nobuhle from South Africa
I am starting medical school on my 40th birthday. I am terrified, but I know the time will pass no matter what, and I have always wanted to become a physician. ❤
I'm 71, starting college in September this year. Thanks for your advice.
Became single at 28, i’m now 33, no husband, no kids, no pets. Still living with my family, no car, no properties yet. I only have my job and good health which I'm so thankful for. Health truly is wealth. I'm still beginning to live the life I want for myself. I am not late, and yes I can progress even though it’s slow… yet this season is the most peaceful and happiest i’ve been in my life.
