I love that the captions get "oaxacan" right but then instead of "Chicken bouillon" it's "chicken boy on"
"despite the recession" feels like it should be a joke yet it's entirely real
Whoever is editing nowadays needs a raise. The dish sprayer punching bag, the lacroix, the notes on the counter, it’s perfect. Hear me out: the style of edit we have here gives the same energy that Josh has. Does that make sense? It’s chaotic. It’s good. It’s chaotic good. It just meshes so well. I feel like some of these clips would have been left on the cutting room floor previously, but when you add them back at the right moments in it takes the movie from a blockbuster to an Oscar. Keep it up, y’all! More of this! Bravo!
I can’t lie, the continued contempt that Josh has for the 10 pound bag of spinach his college roommate bought is hilarious
As someone who grew up with not a lot of money and has had a few really rough spots as an adult, I like that Josh puts no shame on things like canned chicken or even Dollar Tree food. Dollar Tree food may not be my first choice if im able, but it kept me going more than once. I've been really disillusioned with hosts of cooking shows on tv borderline shaming cheaper or easier options
High quality Sardinian food discourse and Japanese hammer throw commentary is why I love this channel.
The X factor with these is also paying for the Costco membership and having the space to store/keep leftovers and unused ingredients- I have a small kitchen with no pantry and so bulk shopping doesn’t work the best.
"You thought it was '05? Yeah? The oylmpics.....in an odd year." 😆 🤣
Idea: from one store, make the same dish using the cheapest ingredients vs most expensive.
