I've been carnivore for 5 yrs. Dr. Baker & Dr. Saladino were my primary sources of information when I started. So many people in the carnivore community have dismissed & demeaned Dr. Saladino for continuing to seek out the optimal human diet for at least some people. I'm very grateful he has continued on this path of questioning, discovery, & education.

My personal observation, I grew up in Russia in 1970th to 1980th before immigrating to US. Men would had heart attack often in late 40th early 50th. You just see it with all your friends' fathers... But here is a caveat, most were heavy drinkers and /or smokers, men (small number) who did not drink or smoke lived to late 80th plus. My sister's father in law did not drink or smoke , made to 96..... In Russia people , especially men eat a lot of meat... but outcome is different for non drinkers...

It is incredible to me that with all the knowledge science has acquired in the last 100 years that the question of diet and CVD remains a hotbed of controversy and uncertainty. A century from now humans will look back on us and marvel at how little we knew.

I eat liver and heart every week. It's probably very good for the heart. Just mix it in my Vitamix blender, and drink it.
