It has been documented that Karl Urban's performance as Leonard โ€œBonesโ€ McCoy literally moved Leonard Nimoy to tears. ๐Ÿ––

Cassie talking about her journey getting to this point in Star Trek just makes me realize how it's been such a long road getting from there to here.

During the filming, Karl Urban (Bones) brought Leonard Nimoy to tears with his performance. Nimoy had said it was as if DeForest Kelly came back to life.

My grandma was a huge Trekkie and this was the last movie I saw with her in a movie theater before she passed. She loved the part were elderly OG Spock was dispensing wise and sage advice to new, younger Spock. I remember seeing her nod and smile during that part. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Her excitement at the revelation of each crew member was fun to watch.

"Section 613.92!" is the most Star Trek you've ever sounded. Way to go!

I miss Leonard Nimoy hearing him say that last โ€œThese are the voyages of the USS Enterpriseโ€ brought me to tears.

I love the intensity that Zachary Quinto brings to Spock is amazing - a great combo of cold logic and a scary, deep emotional capacity. Spock must have been a daunting task for any actor because he's so iconic and beloved. Zachary is a brilliant actor!
