The three dreamers are Yusuf (city, its raining because he had to pee), Arthur (Hotel), and Eames (snow fortress). The rest of the team populates those dreamworlds with their subconscious. My favorite film! Great video.
I loved hearing Cassie explain why she loves sci-fi. She's come a long way in her cinema journey. So great!
Michael Cain years ago confirmed the ending was reality and not a dream, Christopher Nolan was actually upset that he let that slip.
They don't wake up from the van rolling down the hill because that's the first dream level and they are in the third level. The kicks only work if they are simultaneous, starting from the deepest level.
One of the greatest films in modern history.
The point of the end is it doesn’t matter if it’s a dream or reality. Cobb has accepted it as his reality.
"Time is weird" --- Sir Christopher Nolan 🤣 Yes, the sister has to watch "Red Eye"!
imo this is Nolan's best film
The ending takes place in reality because his totem is his wedding ring. He never wears it in reality. At the airport and at his home at the end he isn’t wearing his wedding ring. Michael Caine has revealed that Christopher Nolan told him that all of the scenes that his character appears in take place in reality.
The ambiguity of the ending, cutting away before the top definitively stops spinning or not, is the basis for the whole movie. I love Inception
