Jonathan Frakes made some good directing choices, this is definitely one of the best Star Trek movies.

Seeing Cassie witnessing the actual moment of first contact with the Vulcans made this old Trekker cry. Especially when she raised her hand in the Vulcan salute. ๐Ÿ–– Like watching the birth of a baby. ๐Ÿ˜ญ โค

Patrick Stewart's "this line no further" speech still gives me chills. So emotional and raw.

Jerry Goldsmith went above and beyond his previous gorgeous Star Trek scores. I listen to this soundtrack often while working in the office.

Not gonna lie, cried a couple of times watching that. Picard apologising to Worf and the aliens being the Vulcans gets me every time, and seeing Cassie react to that and get the same feels was awesome. Really enjoyed that ๐Ÿ™‚

My favorite line is when Worf says "If you were any other man, I would kill you where you stand." It showed the huge respect he has for Picard.

Cochran is a metaphor for Gene Roddenberry, a flawed man who created a vision for a TV show, not for heroics, but to make money. His impact went greatly beyond all of his dreams
