With Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara singing at the end, you MUST see A Mighty Wind, with the same cast, but about folk singers. Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara actually won an Academy Award for Best Song in A Mighty Wind.

So long Catherine O'Hara and Fred Willard.😢 They made this film funny as hell.

Parker Posey said this role was so much fun because she got to improvise much of it, which she said she channeled all of the horrible behavior she had seen on movie sets and Jennifer Coolidge would be cracking up during her scenes behind the camera. Also, this is one of those movies that gets better with each watch. Such great performances.

"Waiting for Guffman" is my fav. in this mockumentary series.

So, I know intellectually that Christopher Guest is the guy with the bloodhound in this, the Six Fingered Man in The Princess Bride, and Nigel Tufnell in Spinal Tap, but I still can't wrap my head around that 🙂

Enjoyed “Best In Show” when I first saw it a long time ago, so love seeing you react to this, Cassie. Definitely one of the most beloved Christopher Guest mockumentary since “This Is Spinal Tap”. You should add “Waiting For Guffman” and “A Mighty Wind” to your list for more of this crew!

For anyone who has ever been around dog show people, it is terrifying how close to the mark this film presents its subjects. Just terrifying.

I love how all the clocks in the hotel lobby are showing cities in the same timezone.
