I agree with John.. we need to move away from the "is Marvel back??" question. It is tiring. Either you like it or don't, but move on if it doesn't make you happy anymore. This movie rocks and I will always have hope for the next one.
"Tell Franklin Uncle Johnny loves him" Johnnys my favorite in this.
When Sue tell Johnny to kill Silver Surfer, this was one of the first times in a Marvel movie where I felt the full weight of what that means. I’ve never seen a straight-up superhero (not an antihero) just flat-out tell someone to murder another. And you completely get why. The 4 are THAT desperate to escape them and protect Franklin
What I love so much about Pedro’s version of Reed is that as good and kindhearted as he is, he acknowledges there is a darker more coldhearted side of him. This is the same man who decided to shoot the Hulk into space because he, Tony Stark, Black Bolt and Doctor Strange decided it was far too dangerous for him to live on earth. The drawback to having an intellect that powerful is that you are capable of seeing all variables of an equation. Even the worst most, ruthless variables.
The space scene is really some of the best imagery of the MCU. The music during it too, whew!
i still have chills on “i herald…. Galactus”

Why is this poor man always tasked with having to choose between saving his child or the world 😂
I love how they show Johnny as not only a "funny" guy but also a very smart one - compared to the 2005 version where he only was a big mouth in a good looking body.
Sue overexterting herself to push Galactus through the portal to save Franklin, even at the cost of her own life, was the ultimate portrayal of a mother's love. When a mother's child is in danger, she'll dig deep and find strength she never even knew was there to save their life, even if it means sacrificing herself.
