I think you got it wrong there with the one guy that was “trying to help” the other guy to win by having him pick the joker. He wasnt. He was trying to outsmart the guy by making him think he wanted him to pick the ace by making the joker card stand out and so the guy picked the ace, thinking he was picking the joker, and therefore lost. He saved his own life by outsmarting the dude thats why hes so relieved in the end, not trying to help him.
Fun fact, the Shrine game they played is the Original 1st game Arisu and his friends played in the manga! They changed it in the series cause there's probably no budget for tons of CGI fire arrows. 😅
As someone that loved season 2 and thought it wrapped up the story so well, I was shocked when they announced season 3 back in January. I think waiting the two years between the last one and now has actually made me appreciate and enjoy this season more

I just finished binge watch season 3 and I go on youtube and I see this so excited to see your guys reactions.
The point of this season is kinda going over y’all’s heads a bit here. The whole point of borderland is that it’s the place where you either choose to keep living or call it a day. Through Arisu and the other characters, you take away the message of finding strength and the will to live. Finding your purpose in life, finding the purpose in your existence. Everyone who survived borderlands didn’t survive because of plot armor, they survived because of their strong will to live. And now, 5 years later, these people are back in borderlands playing the joker because they didn’t learn their lesson. They forgot how to fight. These people didn’t choose to come back and play again, they lost their will to live and were taking things for granted. Usagi went back because she had feelings of wanting to join her father in the afterlife, Nobu is back because he tried to end his own life and was suffering mentally, that one guy is back because he was giving his life to drugs, etc. Yes there are games in borderland, but that’s not the whole point. Remember that borderland is the purgatory between life and death, and existed before the games were even a thing‼️
One hell of a season this was .... Aib has to be one of the few dramas which were perfect 10/10 from start to finish I've ever watched!!
Am i the only one who knew the Roman number of L is 50 😂
When I watched it on Netflix and the camera zoomed in on the gangster I thought they were focusing on the gold chain. It was until seeing it again here that there was a glimpse of a Yakuza tattoo. Also, something else to remember with the plot armour is not just the will to live as mentioned by others, but we're not seeing their actual human bodies being shot, stabbed, tossed around, smoked out, or anything else. A strong will to live won't get someone through everything we saw at the end of S2, but when it's not a real body? That's a whole other thing. If anything, for those who have gone back in should be even harder to kill once they know that it's not real blood.
