Episode 1 kicks things off by reintroducing the Straw Hat crew and reminding us why their chemistry worked so well in Season 1. Familiar faces return as well, including the chaotic pirate Buggy the Clown and Alvida, the pirate captain from the very beginning of Season 1. But the episode also begins setting up the larger threat of the season with the introduction of powerful Marine Smoker and new members of the mysterious criminal organization Baroque Works. We meet assassins like Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine, as well as the mysterious girl in the yellow outfit with the umbrella, Miss Goldenweek, hinting at the much larger conspiracy building around the Straw Hats. With new villains, Marines closing in, and the stakes growing higher, Season 2 immediately expands the world of One Piece in a big way. The series stars Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji, with returning characters including Jeff Ward as Buggy the Clown and Ilia Isorelýs Paulino as Alvida.
