The fight becomes a true team effort as Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji join forces with Princess Vivi, Chopper, Dalton, the villagers of Drum Island, and Dr. Kureha to stop Wapol once and for all. The episode also delivers a huge emotional payoff for Tony Tony Chopper, as his dream and Dr. Hiriluk’s legacy come full circle in one of the most beautiful moments of the season, with the sky over Drum Island transformed by pink cherry blossoms in the snow. But Episode 8 doesn’t just wrap up Drum Island — it also sets up everything to come. Chopper officially joins the Straw Hats, Vivi reveals that she uncovered the identity of Baroque Works’ mysterious leader, and the finale confirms that Mr. 0 is actually Sir Crocodile, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. On top of that, Miss All Sunday is revealed to be Nico Robin, while the mention of Operation Utopia makes it clear that Alabasta is heading toward something much bigger and darker.
