Story 1: fucking love the rare examples of the justice system correcting its own fuck ups. Betty is an icon
Also, as far as how many jurors were convinced that she was not guilty, it wasn't just one. All 12 of them voted not guilty
We getting the Frieberg story again? Nostalgia, it's been a while
For story three , how much of a scourge do you have to be ruin christmas for foster kids
*3rd Story:* If you needlessly hurt kids in any way, you 100% deserve what's coming to you.
Didn't we get that first story once? I feel like I've heard this one where the cops had even drank coffee at the same table with chopping marks and rslash made a joke about insurance for chopping. EDIT : yeah alright
First story - That is what is called 'justifiable homicide'. Also, while you cant be found guilty of murder, a jury could find you guilty of some other crime if such is given to them. Scattering body parts like that can result in charges for desecration of a corpse, or the illegal disposal of body parts.
S2. The parents deserved that treatment, but those kids didn't. Terrible parents. Should have been charged with attempted murder.
Convincing one jury member to vote "not guilty" is NOT enough to get you off of murder. It is only enough to cause a mistrial (after which you can be re-tried in a subsequent trial). "Not guilty" verdicts need to be unanimous.
Story 1: I know murder is bad but if he’s using her as a punching bag and NO ONE is going to help at all after calling the police? Nah he got what he deserves. Eventually he would probably have taken her life
