OP carried his family for a whole decade, paying bills since he was FIFTEEN, only to be repaid with betrayal. Sometimes ‘family’ is just the people who drain you the most. Cutting them off isn’t cruel, it’s survival.
Story 1: The bf isnt TA for peeing the bed (come on, it happens) but he most certainly IS TA for not cleaning up his pee and expecting his gf to be cool with sleeping in a puddle of pee… NTA Op i can’t believe he’s actually mad at you…for not wanting to sleep in a puddle of his piss
2nd story: There is a reason that "Used car salesman" is a common insult used to describe someone who is slimy and untrustworthy.
This story proves a hard truth: when you give endlessly to people who only take, they won’t thank you, and they’ll resent you. Walking away isn’t selfish; it’s finally valuing yourself.
The pee dream situation is way more common for adults than people admit because of the stigma, but yeah, it's not a big deal. Any change or stress in your life can bring it about. Just keep a spare set of sheets on standby, change the bed, go back to sleep.
0:38 "When you poop in your dreams, you poop for real." - Peter Griffin, 2010
The last story is so juvenile it actually made me feel refreshes LMAO
If you ever see a toilet outside of a bathroom setting, do NOT use it. You’re in a dream. Or a Home Depot.
The fact that he's okay just laying on a towel without cleaning up the pee suggests this isn't the first time and I doubt this will be the last. That is a level of filth that cannot be excused. Peeing the bed isn't the problem (tho if it's happening often, he should get checked out), it's his not caring about sleeping in his own filth.
Story 2: Major purchases in marriage = 2 yes, 1 no. NTA.
