Story 2: As someone who has worked as a bartender, you DO NOT take someone's tips; like ever. ever ever. Working for tips means that you don't get paid a full salary.
Last story: This is why you ALWAYS have any loans over a specific amount (£100) in a written contract. That way if they wont pay you will have an easier time of proving it in small claims court.
If someone said something to me like Tim said to Larry about the coworker who tried to take their own life, then that person is eating through a tube for the foreseeable future.
*1st Story:* To Tim's credit, he kept that assistant manager position for a decade. Maybe he learned his lesson about not being a jerk to his co–🤣 I'm sorry, I couldn't finish that line with a straight face. Also, this OP has a pretty epic Nuclear Revenge story against a fake HOA Karen if you care to read.
The second story brought back a deep seated memory of a classmate named AJ yelling "TEEEAACHER!!!" all the time, particularly when I called him a random, innocuous word he didn't understand (which was also true, and the teacher told him so) (I told him "You are a male") That was in preschool. That is proof enough for me that the coworker has the maturity of a 4 year old.
Story 2: Honestly, making her look like a whiny, petulant child is just so funny. Yeah it's over four bucks, but it's not about the money, it's about winning the battle. Story 3: Wow, telling the person you owe money to "mind their own business" on what they spent on THEIR money? Bad move, mate. Lying about paying off everything too? That's low, seriously.
Wait. "I believe you she stole from you, but you need to apologize." The fuck? It makes sense they can't take action, but that's still poor management.
Tens of thousands over five months as a server in tips is EXTREMELY optimistic dude 😂
To quote the Joker: "It's not about the money. It's about sending a message."
Missed an opportunity on the first story to berate him for driving a girl to attempt suicide and complaining that she couldn't even do that right. No way he would even hold assistant manager at that point.
