The grapey nephew story: The mother immediately started to hit her son. No questions asked. She didn't hit OP. She KNEW her son was doing something wrong. She K N E W.

2nd story: She saw her son injured after being attacked AND SHE BEGAN ATTACKING HIM HERSELF! She absolutely 100% knew! Do NOT protect these people; protect yourself.

*2nd Story:* Even if reporting the perv nephew goes nowhere, it will establish a pattern of behaviour when the next person comes forward with allegations. Something tells me that OP won't be perv nephew's last victim.

Yo, the fact the mother of the nephew GAVE HER SLEEPING PILLS is a huge sign she not only knew, but is also a conspirator 9r facilitator of it.

That nephew story is just... horrible and heartbreaking. Whatever the husband's reasoning was, I'm just SO glad he supported OP.

Last story: if you don't wanna be caught as a cheater, maybe don't be involved in what amounts to a publicity stunt for someone's porn.

Story # 2 another example of why S.A. victims don't come forward with the truth 100% of the time right away. The family coming out of the wood work to harass you into silence. The fact that even if you do prove your case sometimes nothing gets done. The guilt you feel when you call out your abuser, nothing gets solved, and you find out they hurt someone else after you is near impossible to describe.

Story 2: Considering that she went right to hitting her son, not only did she knew all that time, but was willing to spin the narrative so her son wouldn't get hounded by the law

Story 2: From the way sister-in-law acted, she just refuses to believe OP'S side, like she's doing it on purpose. She saw everything, but she lied and said she didn't see anything. I'm pretty sure she is in denial of the whole thing and cannot believe he did something like that.

That teenage nephew, if he's done that once, he'll repeat the pattern of assault. Chances are, he's already done it against a younger family member.
