There’s an update for the first post, basically the mom friend OP spoke with also picked up the vibe that Kennedy’s stepdad was a creep with how he interacted with the girls at the sleepover and she created a group chat with other parents to give them a heads up. OP texted Kennedy’s mom to say she wasn’t judging them but just felt uneasy about her husband and that she didn’t want her daughter staying over so Kennedy’s mom then said that Kennedy wasn’t allowed over at OP’s place either and OP left it at that. OP’s daughter and Kennedy are still friends.
If something feels off better to protect your kid than let something bad happen. There is no rule where you have to protect the feelings of strangers.
Building shelves story: This is a yellow flag. Keep alert, OP. If she keeps voluntelling you to do stuff and doesn’t learn from this instance, it might enter breakup territory. For now it’s a “set and reinforce very clear boundaries” territory.
OP basically told the girl he was really good when he told her he plays with two different friends who are both on the nationals team. She said don’t go easy and he only beat her that bad on the last game it’s not like he ruined her fun the whole time
See as someone who works with wood, Sarah could have just picked up the wood and then put it somewhere dry until OP was free, its not going to go anywhere
Don't use my shampoo, it's expensive and mine. That would be a perfectly valid reason to tell someone not to use it. That friend is awful.
12:11 "especially since i dont I know how to build shelves" is too funny
"Don't go easy on me" is honestly a trap statement. In romantic relationships or not, if you do actually play it straight you risk the other person getting butthurt. If you still go easy on them they might get mad that you're still not doing your best.
I feel bad for people who end up being embarrassed by people being rude to restaurant staff. Imagine getting banned from a restaurant or public spot cause of one person’s behaviour.
The shampoo for the green was indeed special shampoo. Just not in the way the friend thought it would be.
