I love OP on the second post attitude. "Since I'm a lazy person I'll work hard non stop so I can be lazy later."
Drugs don't make you attracted to children, and this comes from a recovering addict.
I’m sorry, if I ever found myself arguing with my husband about letting a known predator around our kids… that would be the end of my marriage. Trust would be broken.
"I won't let anything happen to our child" Is extremely naive and dangerous. It only takes a second, you could even be in the same room but distracted by your phone when it happens.
if you walk in on someone naked in THEIR room, YOU'RE in the wrong, simple as that, you don't get to tell someone to get dressed

You know, If I work a very physically demanding work, I'd be lazy (and tired) too. Same goes for mental work - if you have your brain at 100% for 8 hours a day, when you get home you wouldn't even want to calculate 2+2, you'd ask someone/something to do it for you.
For story, one of course, no 1 wants her around, she's actively protecting a pedophile.And honestly, I think OP really does need to have a set down heart-to-heart talk with her husband.
