Parents from the first story are the type to believe all dogs are male and all cats and female

Parents do everything to prevent OP from getting along with his sister. Also parents: YoU'rE a PsYcHoPaTh FoR nOt GeTtInG aLoNg WiTh YoUr SiStEr!!! I think we know who the REAL psychopaths are in this story.

The only psychopaths in the first story are OP's parents.

Story 1: “Girls don’t play video games.” My wife plays video games with me almost all the time, what do they mean girls don’t play?😂

Story 1: That was my read also, they hate having a son. Ironically, parenting like this can easily lead to misogyny, which they’d undoubtedly blame OP for developing.

S1: bet you in like 20 years time the parents will be crying and saying "Why don't our kids visit us" wouldn't be surpised if they're put into a run down nursing home too.

44 year old woman, grew up bug hunting, playing in the woods, climbing trees and most of my friends were boys. I had boys hand-me-downs, and loved toy cars. Hated wearing skirts or dresses (would cry if my mum tried to dress me in them), and hated dolls; the one time a relative tried to give me one to see if I'd get into them, I never touched it. None of those interests or preferences had anything to do with my sex, just my individual personality. I wonder what hell of a childhood I'd have had if I'd grown up with parents like story 1, who thought girls can only have a very narrow and stereotyped set of behaviours and interests. Im so glad my parents weren't insane and were just like 'meh, let her do what she likes, as long as she's having fun'. I feel so bad for kids that grow up with parents who push their own personal neurosis onto them.

"It's YOUR fault that you don't have a real relationship with your sisters despite the fact that we did literally everything in our power to prevent you from doing _anything_ together due to our sexist, outdated views!"

Story 1: it’s pretty obvious that the parents never wanted a boy, and they just hate OP for existing.

The last story: it should really be titled, how to ensure you never see your adult children or grandchildren ever again.
