Story 1: cool! OP has a slam dunk lawsuit for wrongful termination because boss attempted to coerce him in front of 2 cops. Get the police report, hire an attorney and enjoy your pay day
Go ahead, fire me so I can sue you for wrongful termination
First story: NTA, the only thing missing now is an update stating OP is taking his former boss to court for wrongful termination. I would even consider this retaliation.
Take the boss to court for wrongful termination, then you get a payout AND your chair back AND the douchebag has to think about how he acts.
Retaliatory firing for pressing charges on a larcenist? That should be like the easiest wrongful termination lawsuit ever.
Second Story, NTA: OP's mom is a terrible mom. Who tells their own kids that they ruined their life. SHE chose to have kids, not the other way around. Also, OP is still a minor, she is still legally obligated to take care of OP until she is 18
You can't force children to love step parents... step parents need to earn that love... affair partners might never earn that love.
Just because you have a two parent household, doesn’t necessarily mean you’re the most stable.
Airpod story: in situations like that, you don't want to stress out the toddler in that situation. I want to have an update on that because I think she's going to need surgery to take that out of her stomach.
I found the post. Op quoted this when some asked him to sue his boss “I still have to work in the industry. Getting someone arrested for stealing my chair is no big deal. Suing my (former) employer is a big no-no. I already have another job. I start on Monday.”
