My last therapist freed me from my abusive parents by telling me once you're an adult your parents have no more authority over you. I know it's sad I had to be told that. But it was wonderful to hear.

Story 1: I wonder why all the other sibling don’t talk to mom anymore. Also, this is not an entitled parent, this is human trafficking, and orchestrating the assault of a minor. If OP does everything right, she will get a restraining order, if the police do their job, grandma will be arrested and charged.

R/, I don't think you understand. When people thought I was a teenager, I got harrased a lot more at work. No joke. Customers would ask me about my school while touching me. Then, when my hair got longer and I put it up, I looked older and I didn't get harrased as much.

Story 3: every parent has to face the day when they don’t have control over their child anymore, and has to treat them as an adult. For entitled parents that day is worse than an execution. So they act like this, which is incredibly sad and pathetic, but that’s all they can do.

Story 3: What a nutso, but at least the dog is alive. OP is 18, if she wants to leave and live somewhere else, nobody can force her not to. Good on OP

The mochi story was pretty much proven to be false because of the writer's inconsistencies in the comments. Still entertaining though because we know people are crazy like this, but it's unfortunate to learn that some of the stories I like are just creative writing prompts.

My theory on the mom in story 1: she was traumatized by how her life went and instead of realizing this, accepting, and getting help, she instead subconsciously tried to justify it to herself by trying to recreate her life experiences for her children and grandchildren. I am not a professional. I am NOT justifying her sick actions, just giving a theory of why. She is still vile.
