Story 1:I love how OP just focused on the dehydrated part and not the uncooked part which is the real problem. Unlike in the movies adding water doesn't cause dehydrated things to grow like 8 times in size, on the other hand name me any raw potato dishes. Potatoes when eaten raw are generally poisonous causing things like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.

did people forget why potatoes were considered poison and inedible a long time ago? yes, slightly uncooked potatoes will give you the runs. and it lasts for a while. the more "wrong" your potatoes are, the worse it gets and they can be deadly. edit: Fine, you guys win the internet points. keep eating raw potatoes and pretending it's fine. just so you know, i don't advocate suicide, so keep me out of your suicide attempts please. buncha lunatic eating shit off the ground and pretending they're fine.

I have very blue eyes. One time when I was a kid we spent the whole day out boating in a lake. I put on sunscreen, but didn’t wear a hat or sunglasses. At the end of the day my eyes were red because I had SUNBURN ON MY EYES! Sunglasses are a necessity for me ever since.

I feel bad for that last girl, she did not deserve to be humiliated by that scummy man and I'm glad the girlfriend helped her.

They took the wrong message away from that potato story. It had nothing to do with "becoming the water". You are perfectly capable of eating a fair amount of stuff that needs to be rehydrated without actually doing so before eating it. You would need to eat so much of those things that you would probably be seeing issues just from eating it without even considering whether or not it needed water. Their reaction suggests that the stuff was not fully cooked, which you are supposed to do with potato before eating it.

Blue-eyed person here. You’re right, Dabney! People with grey, blue or green eyes are much more sensitive to UV light. I had a lot of headaches and motion sickness when I was a kid, and it turns out most of it was caused by not wearing sunglasses! Nowadays it’s rare that I don’t wear sunglasses outside, even on cloudy days.

CORE MEMORY UNLOCKED! When I was around 11 years old, my brother and I had our friends over (who happened to also be brother and sister). Starting out it was a good day, but as things go, peace is rarely long term. It started with my dad joking with my mom. Teasing, casual ribbing, including the kids in on it. The jokes started slowly, then built speed. One after another; all of them good hearted, but still at my mother's expense. Then, she started peeling potatoes. Smiling, going along with the jokes, while occasionally stating "I'll get you back." None of us noticed that twinkle in her eyes. None of us noticed when she started crunching on a raw, peeled potato. We kept up the jokes, wave after wave. Then, my mom slowly stood up, stretched, and walked out the front door. We didn't notice her slight pause behind a box fan on the floor. We didn't hear a sound. Ever heard of silent but deadly? This....was not that. It was silent, and INCREDIBLY violent. When the smell of potato powered noxious fumes hit us, it was every man (and child) for themselves. I cannot describe the sheer panic that set in as each of us fought our way to the door. That fart was *potent*. But I CAN describe the smug smile of satisfaction my mother had when we finally got outside. She. Was. Victorious. and we all learned: never, ever mess with Mama 😂

Story 5: Given the GF's reaction I wonder if she had suspected that Ryan was up to something. Well if there's any consolation, at least she isn't mad at OP, but OP is definitely never forgetting this mess
