Hearing you say there were a lot of years where you couldn't choose being a mom over work really hit me. I've always been the bread winner in my family with two young sons while my hubby stayed home. My husband recently got a job that pays pretty well and with schooling he can make even more. He made a comment last night about how hes going to go to school so I can be a stay at home mom and I started crying! Like tears of joy! I didn't even know I was holding all that in! I guess I just never even let myself dare to want it because I had told myself I just never could. Like what I want to do was always overshadowed by what I MUST do. I hope to send you a super chat someday announcing that I quit my job and I'm a stay at home mom. Ok rant over ❤️😅 love ya
I found you during the Deep v Heard trial & have been here ever since!! Love everything you do & how you do it, Emily, thank you!
Love, that your teens trust you enough to have these conversations with you.
Yesterday I heard lawyer you know about Daybel lawyer and he said: "as Emily would say: I have questions!" The Gospel is being spread !!❤
You never have to apologize for being a good mom. Always be the good mom first.
I was diagnosed with dyslexia before I was 10 yr=ears old and that was the 60's... in high school I was told I would not be able to manage college.. In my mid 30s I went to community college and did well.. in my mid 50's I found out that if you have dyslexia you ALWAYS have one of the ADD'or ADHD.. it was far to late by then but did explain a lot...I find I still have to defend my brain often as people believe its jut an excuse.. really pisses me off.. at 66 I still have to work on my confidence everyday.. you< Rob and Runkle are a great support to me in my older life.. thank you
I heard the words “keep bad books away kids”, on the news today. I asked my husband what is wrong with books unless they promote hate? ❤
Re being home alone. I'm not home alone, my living room is full of lawnerds :)
Gates closed means nothing. I lived 3 blocks froma city park and people simply climb it. Zero security. No issue unless someone does something dangerous
Omggg, I didn’t realize others didn’t have to distract the multitude of hamsters in the brain to focus on important tasks until middle-aged ADHD diagnosis. 😁
