I was moved by Dr Edgely’s story. I’m impressed and inspired by the way he handled a stroke while still in college. He now serves others who are going through something similar ❤
As a 2x TBI individual and 2 more concussions...I hate that I have issues...I struggle with so much let along SEVERE ADD. No family for support, or guidance since age 19. MY struggles are daily. Yes I have a masters, doesn't matter with my cognitive abilities. I feel for Sandersen HOWEVER, I feel he had a chip on his shoulder with the "im a doctor complex"..".I'm above avg. I can drive and read..." but I don't blame GP at all...but I feel MOST of his issues were underlined with past marriages, and relationships, and he covered them well with outgoing personality BEFORE, now he's older, retired , he feels non relevant...ego etc. And his brain is not what it was...
Even without participating in the chat I feel heard and seen in this community. I feel less alone knowing all of y’all are in the world thinking all these thoughts along with me. ❤❤❤
I truly love Emily's channel. She is energetic, funny, and welcomes all of us Law Nerds to her channel.
My dad had a stroke during a preventative procedure, he ended up suing and refusing any settlement because he wanted the doctor to stop performing surgeries. The defense did everything they could to discredit my dad, and ended up with the jury finding for the doctor. It was a small town, he was one of a few doctors and I think that led into their decision, they didn’t want retribution for their families when being treated. Years later a doctor who had testified on the doctor’s behalf wrote an article saying he lied on the stand to protect his fellow doctor. Didn’t name this doctor, or the trial, but sure reached out to my father’s attorney, to say he wanted to speak to them and apologize. My dad had since passed and my mom told him to pound sand. It just makes me so sad.
What an inspiration!! Med school is stressful and challenging enough, but to survive a stroke, and use your experience to shape and excel in your career as an MD- absolutely amazing. Kudos to Dr. Edgley. It doesn't get more expert than that! ❤
Loving the young lawyer he’s so clear and keeps me interested
Emily you are awesome ❤ I’m not a lawyer but a neurodivergent gal Autistic and Adhd from the Uk I started watching you with the Johnny Depp trial and I’m now hooked on all this court proceedings 👏🏻👏🏻 my new special interest and I’m loving it ❤
Hello Emily, I would like to say thank you for creating this channel for all who are genuinely interested in how the legal system operates, when serving justice to those wronged. It isn’t a straight road when the lawyers are not of a calibre similar to those we have seen from Rudnick Brown. However, having your channel helps navigate the winding paths of those ill prepared legal teams we have come to witness in this case. Thank you for your professional, objective and considerate guidance.
