Wore my facts not fuckery sweatshirt to my eye doctor today. He told me how much he loved it. I told him you were a big fan of the cursy words, he said he was a big fan of facts.
Emily getting the gift of banning trolls on Rex Manning Day is priceless!
I was on a Grand Jury in San Bernardino . . . jury service lasted over 6 weeks, and we heard 4 cases . . . one case was manslaughter vs. murder (homeless guy killed another homeless guy), 2 cases were welfare fraud (inside jobs where welfare workers were stealing childcare and food stamp benefits from folks who were on welfare) and the last case was a fraud case against San Bernardino County Sheriffs - some folks (went as high as the #2 in the Department) were doctoring continuing education documents/attendance records to get credit for classes not attended (resulting in promotions and pay raises not earned, which also increased retirement benefits, as retirement is based on last salary paid). . . was a great experience . . . would recommend to anyone who has the opportunity . . . .
Happy Rex Manning Day, replay crew! ✨️ I don't feel that I need to explain my art to you, Warren.
“What are you doing later?” “I don’t know I’m either going to jail or to hell I can’t decide” - love this movie… love your channel!
Themadcatster is definitely reporting on the TikTok psychic still. No snark, just wanted to give him props where they are due
I went back and rewatched the hearing(s) where detective mowery and the case agent testified on subpoena from the defense about missing evidence to see if either of them really did say that they had personally seen the timing advance records, as the defense claimed one of them testified to. Unless I’m missing another hearing where a detective testifies, it didn’t happen like she said. The *closest* they come is when she asks a leading question of “when did you first see the timing advance records in this case?” to the case agent on 5/30/24 at roughly the 30 minute mark on law & crime, even though he’d never said he had seen them. He goes “uhh I’m not sure when I saw them” but then within 30 seconds he responds to another inquiry about it with something like “I don’t honestly know if if I ever saw any”. Then on “cross” the prosecutor asked him to clarify whether he even knew if there WERE any and he said he didn’t know. And Mowery didn’t say anything about it in his testimony. Though I will note that the prosecutor also said to the court at that same hearing that there weren’t ANY timing advance records soooo… maybe she just meant in regards to kohberger’s phone, but she definitely didn’t specify. Also, Taylor confirmed that as of that date she had seen zero timing advance records for this case, and didn’t ask anything about the non-kohberger ones, so I think she didn’t know those existed yet. I might be missing a later hearing, but I can’t remember another one where a detective testified?
"Well Sinead O'Rebellion! Shock me, shock me, shock me with the deviant behavior!" One of my absolute faves! It's the 30th anniversary!
I was a teen in the 90s and never watched Empire Records. Watching it tonight!
My son was a circular arguer when he was a teenager. His favorite answer would be, “that would be true, if it wasn’t false.” To answer him with anything at all would be met with, “again, that would be true, if it wasn’t false.” So annoying.
