Can't wait for Jimmy Kimmel to get canceled
Ever since Colbert, Fallon, and Kimmel took over late night shows none of them have been funny and turned into propaganda machines for the democrats .
Steven Colbert: I'm a coward and I sold out years ago.
And people wonder why the late Johnny Carson never went political, in either direction. Look up Johnny Carson's interview with Mike Wallace. Carson explains clearly why he's not interested in turning his show into a political platform.
And nothing of value was lost
On the night of the 2016 election, his last monologue was a conciliatory one urging people to stop hating and to come together. I wish I'd recorded it. The next morning, when it was apparent that Clinton had lost, Colbert acted as if he'd never said those things just the night before, and instead went on an anti-trump rant that has lasted for almost nine years. It became so clear that Colbert said what he had on election night, fully expecting that Clinton was going to win. It was such an apparent hypocrisy that I never watched Colbert again. And over nine years of ranting, I haven't missed anything at all.
Any time I think of Colbert all I can think of is that parody catchphrase "I sold out years ago and I'm a coward."
All that government funding dried up.
Thank God. I hated Colbert. Late Night was legendary and revered before Colbert nightly trashed half the country
The Late Show cost $100M/year. It lost $40M/year.
