There's a certain Youtuber who's been saying it for years.
I’m from Chile and here old people and people from the countryside say “hace mucho calor, va a temblar”, which translates to “it’s too hot, we will have an earthquake”. In Chile people usually think that because most of the big earthquakes happen in the summer, specially in the hotter days. Of all the earthquakes I have lived here, I can’t think of a single one that happened in winter
Hello Wonderful Anton! This is Person...
I feel like I've heard of this before?
I remember it like it was yesterday when one of my professors once told me that it's only a coincidence until its no longer a coincidence.
Anton covers something once, and it makes sense.
7:27 My wife is from Lima, Peru. in 2007 she saw lights offshore, and this is a place that doesnt really get lightning. Her father has some stories too. It's not transformers because these people are saying its coming from the sea lot of the time. My wife was very unfamiliar with thunderstorms so maybe that was it but begs a question if its just lightning, why before and after large quakes?
Strike or change pressure on crystal, quartz as a good example and there is an electric discharge. But does huge amounts of crystal structures in geology swell if electrons are introduced via solar wind. Add tidal forces to the mix.
I remember making a post about it on Facebook years ago and my post getting taken down for just speculating.
I just got an earthquake notice on my phone while watching 🙈
