Elementary school one mile away. If this is in the States, he LEGALLY cannot move there. If he is on the Registry, then he HAS to tell his parole officer that he is moving and where. If he doesn't, instant jail. Call the non-emergency line to find out how to report him/this situation
If I gave 50,000$ to someone and they STILL wanted more I might actually lose it
As a bus driver myself, I can assure you, there are quite a few people like Story 2 OP, if not even worse
There was an update on the story about the watch and foster child. She talked to her foster parents about how she felt and how unfair the situation was and they stood by her. Called the family who thought their watch was stolen back and demanded the uncle apologize to everyone and say he was in the wrong and he did. A good ending
If he’s on the registry, he *legally* has to inform his neighbors when he moves
Story 1: I’ll be honest here, i dont know whats worse: Op’s entitled in laws constantly demanding money from her…and actually being upset she isnt giving me…or the fact that Op, somehow is questioning if SHE is the bad guy here… Like the amount of gaslighting this poor woman must have gone through to think this is crazy. NTA Op but your husband is NOT impressing me here…
That poor foster kid. I bet Rick only acted like that because that's how he sees foster kids
4th story had a small update: OP decided to print out the comments she got, and made the foster parents read them. They were absolutely mortified, called Rick and his wife over who also got mortified (though more the wife, while Rick got mad). They made Rick call everyone he had called and apologized in front of OP, after which OP forgave him, with the boundary that she wouldn't be around him or his house.
honestly? Rick in the 4th story probably tossed the watch under the dresser so he could go abuse OP by going over and screaming at her. Rick is a terrible person.
Last Story: …NOBODY who hears this story would be on Mary’s side…
