I would never give anything to a kid that their parent didn't approve. Kids don't always know their own allergies.
"Where do all these morons come from?" Well RSlash When a Mommy Moron, and a Daddy Moron, get very drunk...
First story: Pretty sure the bible says that if a man can't control his lustful gaze to pluck out his eyeballs. Maybe the son should have done that. 🤷♀️
The dude in Story 1 is horrible and OP is 100% in the right, but what the hell is wrong with OP's mom!? I have a 6 almost 7 year old niece and if a family member or close family friend did what the uncle did to OP, I definitely wouldn't be blaming the literal child. Me, my mom, my dad, my sister, BIL, uncle and cousins would have tracked him down and beaten the living shit out of him, which is what you're supposed to do.
Even if it were true that a thirteen year old girl would strip down and try to seduce a grown ass man (given, that she’s in a detention facility, we don’t what she’s been through and how she copes with it) he’s STILL NOT THE VICTIM! And I sincerely doubt that’s the whole story anyway, but even if it was he’s still the grown man who can walk away and shut her down. He still went for it. She’s not the one with the power, he is. And he did that. Let him rot in prison!
Claiming the minor seduced you is an odd strategy.
Story 2: I'm no psychology expert, but I'm >95% sure their plan would not have worked anyway since OP is still present in the kids' lives. Regardless, they wouldn’t be good parents anyway
I honestly don't get how people are like. "You should be ashamed of yourselves. I know what you're doing in there!" Like, lady, do you want grandkids or not?
13:39 "when I was a teenager and wanted money I just went out and got a job" Rslash, I just want you to know that I live in the same city the OP does, and currently our job market is a dumpster fire. One job listing will have hundreds, and in some cases thousands, of people applying for it, I'm not exaggerating when I say I've been applying for 'low-level' jobs (hospitality, retail, cleaners, etc) for over four years (since I actually was a teenager) and only gotten ONE call back. I have multiple friends who have been rejected for McDonald's, despite being a great fit for the job, as either the role was immediately filled, it was a ghost listing, or something else. I'm sure this is the case in many places around the world right now, so I just wanted to say that it's no longer as easy as "just going and getting a job" when you want money as a teen, as even the jobs no one wants are being fought over.
If the sister hadn't made that comment about the money, she wouldn't have gotten it. Therefore the son had no idea what he was rejecting since that wasn't on the table when he did. OP should have made him that offer too.
