"Woof woof, keep our furry customers in mind." My jaw dropped real quick at that. Like WTFFFF
Woof woof! Your coworker was mauled to death. A reminder that you don't have health insurance because you're considered an independent contractor so make sure to bleed out before we notice your truck hasn't moved all day to avoid crippling debt. -Amazon management. PS dying on the job is grounds for instant termination.
That's weird. I faked being sick so that I could skip school and the bus I was going to ride was t-boned right in the side by a pickup truck where I usually sit. The first story reminded me of that.
Julius Caesar's wife allegedly got a nightmare the night to the day he was stabbed. She described holding his lifeless body. And thing is, Caesar almost cancelled the Senate meeting he was stabbed at because of this..... But was convinced to still go by one of the assassins.
Ummm.. the mom who put a candle in the plastic cup needs adult supervision
Delivery Guy Story: God, that was dark. And the fact the company sent out a notice to everyone with that "Woof woof" message really rubbed me the wrong way, it's like they treated someone's death as some kind of light-hearted joke. I won't blame the guy's parents if they tried to make Amazon and the dog owners take responsibility for this.
I swear dogs senses are something else. I had a dog that I was pet sitting regularly back when I was a teen. One day out of the blue that dog started to snarl, growl and bark at my best friend at that time. She knew that friend for years and never had issues with her. I later learned that friend cheated on me with my boyfriend. Pretty much around the time the dog started to act defensive towards her. I miss that dog. She was a good girl.
That last story. What he's feeling is survivor's guilt and that guy should really remember when he was a kid. It wasn't his fault. The adults didn't pay attention and he chose the most vulnerable out of his congregation to attack
My story gives credit to an amazing doggo named Buddy! We used to dogsit him and I would walk him after school, I think I was around 12. He was very old, stiff, and slow, but one day while crossing the street he suddenly ran ahead and pulled me to the sidewalk, before sitting down and panting to catch his breath. I opened my mouth to say what the heck, when behind me, there was a 3 car smash up in the crosswalk we had been in. I just said GOOD BOY!!! And took him for extra cookies.
Medical dogs often work with scent - depending on your illness your hormones change short before an episode - and the dog can smell the change and alert you.
