There’s an update to the first post. OP apologized for ignoring her, bought her two pregnancy tests, she forgot to take the cap off the first time around and on the second try the results came back negative and they moved on with their lives.
"you must be a black player" absolutely destroyed me, even as a previous mtg player
you gotta love how dabney realized right as his last comment left his mouth that he had to justify its meaning knowing not everybody would know mtg lore
My favorite part about bullies is that seemingly, they can do whatever the hell they want to and no one will care, but the second you defend yourself, it's suddenly a problem.
Magic the Gathering cards can be insanely expensive. I have a deck that if stolen would basically be a felony.
Story 4: Imagine your kid literally getting blacklisted from other kids' parties because "I bought this gift with MY money and I can take it for myself if I wanted to" and yet you're still missing the point. Oh wait, they know that it's bad, they're just making excuses and burning bridges just to coddle the daughter. Have fun trying to have a social life in adulthood, because I sure as hell doubt OP will be helping at all
The self defense post ended up being a bigger mess. OP threatening legal action lead to the bully being expelled but it turns out that OP’s brother is just a jerk and terrible person who views his niece as a stray OP took in since OP isn’t the bio mom and it lead to a very messy family drama.
Update on the “passionate hugs” story: Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. I read them all and they were so helpful. It took a lot of courage and I finally made the decision for us to go our separate ways. It was a hard conversation for both of us to have but it ended up being very amicable. We are still living together for a couple of weeks and I told her to just say the word if she needs some space, as I've got great support with friends I can stay with before I move states for a 5 week univeristy placment. She’s got her parents house two minutes down the road and she even offered to stay there as she’s empathetic to the fact that I don’t have that option. She has no problem with me leaving personal non essential items at the house until I have a new fixed address. She won't kick me to the curb basically. She has been very mature about how we move forward and we have had some of the best conversations we've ever had and reminisced about all of things that were great about each other and our relationship. Overall, we have no spiteful feelings for each other and can feel confident that we can be friends again in the future, after respecting having time and space from each other. Once again I appreciate all your comments and messages.
Honesty with the last story, OP should have immediately filed a police report for theft. Not only did his GF steal from him, the shady card shop would have to explain to cops why he willingly helped cut the lock off a box of cards and probably purchased them for far less than they were worth.
13:36 can’t believe he stayed that long despite such a huge incompatibility issue
