No matter how many clever happiness hacks you try, if you’re not taking care of your foundation—eating nutrient-rich foods, avoiding harmful substances, and giving your body what it truly needs—then all those shortcuts will fall flat. Real well-being starts with respecting your health, not just stacking up life hacks.

I am a 58 year old college educated waitress, by choice. I don't make a ton of money, but I LOVE what I do. I talk to strangers all day, every day. My purpose, my mission every day, is to make others' days better and brighter. And I LOVE talking to strangers, in lines, on the street, on transportation. And yeah, I'm generally happier than most. Lucky me.

What is happiness. There are many theories on this. Is it feeling content and peace within yourself. Is it accepting yourself and all your mistakes and faults. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. I’m seventy and doing life in a calm acceptance of who I am. Being at peace and not caring about what people think of me. I am at peace in knowing the past seventy years I did the best I could. I know I’m not perfect. I know there have been times I’ve been wrong. I’m human. It’s ok. Just live and find things that excite you. There are things you can do all day long that make you happy. Little things. I have a ritual I do every morning that start my day with peace and deep meaning for my soul. Sets the day up for calm and happiness. Happiness is different things to people. What makes me happy may not make someone else happy. Find your own happiness.

At 55 I remember a childhood and teenage years without phones. I would like to ban mobile phones and unsupervised internet until 18. Today's young people can't compare life without so we grandparents need to speak up for them. X

writing things down creates essential neuropathways that typing cannot create. The art of writing by hand is something I have gratitude for.

Love Dr. Santo's voice. For me, so big when you are trying to really understand someone. She is smart, not condescending, not rushed, and comforting. Wish I had more teachers like her. I hope you all find more happy today. ❤

today I almost left my job because I am extremely unhappy. I could never find a silver lining and the job that I do. I listen to this this morning and it has helped me incredibly mentally to put into play how I can change the way I think about my job. I don’t know how I found this podcast, but I am so thankful that I did you saved me today in many ways and now I can look forward to inflating my tire a little bit every day at work! Thank you thank you
