I have NEVER been so quick to click
You have to do an interview with Sydney Leroux!
Oh, I did not expect this one. I loved Alex when she was on the San Diego Wave, my hometown team. Good to see that she's still continuing her legacy of fighting for those who cannot speak up for themselves. And that she's finally getting the recognition she deserves for how she fought for justice behind the scenes. Good on her and may she live a long and truly blessed life
As an older gentleman it saddens me that our society has never allowed women to realize their full potential until they gain “life experiences”, which as Alex describes comes with a price! If only our culture would have women raised as equals in every way can they fight to overcome the ignorance and misogyny men burden them with! The strength and confidence displayed by both ladies is the imperative today’s women should emulate and learn from! Thank you Ladies for an enlightened evening conversation!
I don’t understand how Alex can do these interviews and not cry. Lmao I had tears (of pride and joy) SO many times throughout this episode. Just… 😭😭❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️
2019 "Tea Celebration" was fire!
As a former soccer player, this is literally the most exciting interview. I can’t even imagine juggling like I used to
At the time, she was the most marketable athlete in Women’s Sports. The pressure to be the “role model” for young girls was way too high. It’s exhausting and she is proof of that now, wanting to put her career behind her. Caitlin Clark now is the Alex Morgan™ of that time.
If it weren’t for “Call Me Daddy” I would still be clueless about these amazing people.
I played soccer throughout childhood because of Alex Morgan. I remember those World Cup teams so vividly.
