For a stroke, remember, BEFAST: Balance (loss of balance of coordination) Eyes(changes in vision) Face(drooping features on ONE side of the face) Arms(and legs)(weakness in limbs on ONE side of the body) Speech(difficulty speaking or understanding others) Time(call 911, note time of onset RIGHT AWAY... stroke medications are time sensitive, so you must BEFAST!!!

That last story has me bawling 😭😭😭 such a sweet cat. I’m glad that the OP lucked out with the cat distribution system.

Last story : The price of love is grief but its always worth it to remember the time being with them.
I rescued a cat from a horrible situation and then that cat became my shadow for 20 years. It's been 5 years now and I still swear I catch glimpses of her out of the corner of my eye. I miss her and never would consider it a mistake rescuing her
That last story I expected her to say she neglected all her friends in favor of the cat or something. That story was just the sad end to every pets story 🥺
The cat story is so sweet... Better to love and have lost than to have never loved at all
Second Story: A better lesson is to just not give this guy rides. I don’t get being stranded is going to teach him anything, especially since he didn’t learn from anything
The stroke story is from my best friend! She's doing amazingly alright, all things considered. Before passing judgement, please remember that she was making choices while actively experiencing brain damage. Those around her, myself included, encouraged her to seek medical care. Everything she experienced already overlapped with symptoms she had from other conditions. I ran her through the "check for stroke" checklist just to be safe, and she passed with flying colors. Her story is amazing, and we're all very shaken up. Please be kind.
