I know RSlash and some others have read the first story before, but seriously, the audacity of using someone else's whole back yard without their consent or knowledge is pretty nuts. And the guy KNEW he wouldn't be allowed to, or he'd have spoken about it with OP.

2nd story: I had a beautiful princess Barbie that was supposedly a collectors item when I was little. I tried taking great care of it, but one time my younger cousins visited, my parents decided they should be able to play with any of my stuff and one of them ripped her clothes and ruined the hair while playing "tornado". I was even scolded for being upset about this... Fun times

4th story: That ranger has been through this before. Maybe not with them, but with other visitors. He knew that the claim that they'd be out by tomorrow was a straight up lie. They were just kicking the can down the road hoping that OP would give up.
