I've not gained, but haven't lost either, no body measurement changes either. I'm following the carnivore lifestyle perfectly. There is nothing in my kitchen other than meat in the freezer, butter and eggs in the fridge. Sparkling waters (no artificial or other sweeteners) and just plain water. I keep one bottle of water for electrolytes and two drops of iodine. The only change I've noticed, and it is summer here, I'm sweating with the least bit of effort. I'm active in my workshop, I do my own yard/house work and then do 45-minute "walkies" with the dog every evening. Sure, steady energy and I'm not hungry like I used to be. Two meals a day, last one at around 4pm. Puleeeez tell me sweating during even little things like changing the bedding is a sign that my metabolism is waking up. Please.
My husband and I have adopted a carnivore lifestyle and LOVE IT!! Our 33y/o son has joined us. Shopping is fast and efficient! 🥩BBBE…some pork and fish as well. We recently invested in a SMART SCALE and get to see changes even when the weight hasn’t changed.
My ex girlfriend gained a buch of weight on antidepressants so i cooked a carnivore diet and had her do 100 bodyweight squats a day.She lost eight pounds the first week and six the next.
I had 25 pounds to lose and my first year I gained an additional 15 pounds. It took me 2 years for my body to respond and start losing weight!
70 yrs young, healthy, pretty active, on NO medication, but after a kidney stone incident that created sepsis in one of my kidneys and emergency surgery, I thought that was the end of me. I had been suffering from low energy, brain fog, joint pain to name a few things, but after my attack I seemed to go downhill and was hard to recuperate. Thought this was my new OLD life. Came across a video about the carnivore diet and without hesitation I jumped right into it. I figured ….what do I have to loose? I went from eating mostly vegetables, beans and carbs to eating what I really love best….meat, butter, eggs! Within the week, all my joint pain was gone, no more brain fog, tons of energy!!! OMG!!! It has been 3 months for me, and although at times it is difficult to control what I eat because of various circumstances, Its pretty much a heavy meat diet for me. The odd bit of veg and romain salad when I need something cold. I am pretty lean….but I’ve lost 7 pounds of fat. I still have belly fat to lose, which is slowly coming down. I feel strong and healthy again and hope I don’t ever have to give up this wonderful, amazing healthy way of eating! My friends think I’m a freak, but I think it’s because they don’t want to believe what they eat is not healthy! I get it! At the same time they’re amazed at how much better and stronger I look since last year 😃 Thanks to people and Dr.s like you who really care about the wellness of people. Thank you and Blessings❤
I didn't know to lay down when you measure your waist. When I started back in April of 2024. My waist was 50. Now it's down to 41. Now I have to lay down and measure to see what the difference is there.
I'm 64 and getting Jacked. No bloat , just a denser body mass. If i look too thick , a couple days of intermitant fasting cleans that up.
After doing carnivore for a month, decided to start working out since I’m eating all this meat.I gained 20lbs of muscle,160 to 180, it’s been 9 months, my weight when i was my 20’s, simply amazing and of course my inflammation issues are 90% better. Thank you Dr.Chaffee
Before carnivore I was starving myself. My metabolism totally tanked because of how much I restricted. When I first started carnivore I was craving fat so much. I would have 3 or 4 600ml bottles of cream a week. I had cheese and cream cheese. I ate maybe 5000 - 6000 calories a day. I was very hungry. I ate every time I was hungry. I often ate five times a day because I was ravenous. Well I totally repaired my metabolism. I lost 17 kgs in 14 weeks. I only got weighed on the 14th week. To me that shows that CICO doesn't apply to carnivore. Besides when I starved I didn't lose weight. To me carnivore is a gift. It's given my life back. Don't be scared to eat on carnivore. I also don't know why I lost weight eating so much cream. Maybe it fired up my metabolism. I don't have as much cream now. I don't feel I'm addicted to cheese either. I can lose weight eating cheese so I don't understand that. Thank you for this video Dr Anthony. ❤❤❤
