I noticed that I often watch things like this and then forget the main point a day later. Lately I’ve been trying to pause at the end and really think about what the takeaway was.
LET THIS SINK IN: Don’t let a single day pass without doing one thing that your future self will thank you for, the next decade is built in moments like this.
“Habits are evidence of who you are.” ~James Clear 💕
This whole episode is like a masterclass
"How many hours a day are really under your control?" This hit differently
I was diagnosed with cancer a week before Christmas and months ago read "Let Them" and have been listening to your pod cast. I am about to start Chemo and this was a great episode. You have inspired me to start my own podcast to help other women walk through the Big C. Our experiences can always help others, especially the dark valleys of our life. I plan on being back on top of the mountain!!!!
Everything he says is a mic drop. And he's humble about it. James Clear is a living legend!!👏👏
Both Mel and James have profoundly changed my life I have spent 55 years ( I’m now 67) setting goals with the best intentions and huge energy but have never understood that it’s all about systems I now habit stack I now have a jar of black beans ( I transfer one bean every time I carry out a system… eg go to a workout) and the jar is half full I’m excited about 2026 I’m just hitting my straps so if you’re retired and thinking it’s too late to change- trust me it’s not I’m walking from north to south of italy solo in April I think anyone can do anything if they set systems in place to achieve it Thank you Mel- you’re changing the world around you and inspiring others every podcast Bobbie Byron Bay Australia ❤
Procrastination on something important is choosing to delay a better future… That Hit me!!! You’re right mel this interview could’ve ended with this
