- Transparency, not silence, is the path through struggle, actively preventing self-destruction.
- Balance overwhelming goals (space travel, career) with personal commitments (motherhood) using analogies like juggling glass vs. plastic balls.
- Shift your internal dialogue from "Why me?" to "Why not me?" to pursue your entire vision board simultaneously.

If You Are Reading This I Am Praying For You To You Will Get What You Want ❤
I lost my beloved wife Tina, unexpectedly, last December. Several days later, one of my first decisions was to be very open and honest about my Grief Journey on social media, as a guest on podcasts, on-stage as a speaker, etc. Why? For the same reason that Kellie has shared her challenging IVF journey: to help others who may be very fresh in their own painful days. I can also relate to the point Mel and Kellie made about 'feeling pitied' and having people around me be very uncomfortable, unsure of what to say, etc. I am still me. I miss my Tina, every day. I am blessed with a loving family. I will not suffer in silence. I will continue to push forward to honor her wishes and her legacy, and to help as many people as I can. Thank you Mel and Kellie. This conversation was very helpful and inspiring.
Maybe this is why i randomly woke up at 4 am ❤
Society- “How dare you go out and pursue those dreams that we said were so important.” She nailed it. Don’t allow yourself to be shamed into society’s trap.
I've not known of her before but have loved this episode. She is so eloquent and beautiful to listen to. I love to listen to strong, well-spoken women :)
27:10 I have a hunch that there are SO MANY mothers out there who have sacrificed their career aspirations because they felt burdened or overwhelmed by the demands of parenthood. And there’s a twinge of jealousy when they see other mothers making it work. Even if it’s subconscious, it could be what’s driving the nasty online comments about you being a “bad” mom. Someone criticizing other people makes the person feel better or justified in their choices. I love that you’re slowly and steadily challenging the narrative around this despite it being hard 👏❤
You don’t need to know the whole path to build the life you want, just the next step. The life you want isn’t built in perfect conditions... it’s built in the chaos
I just love today’s guest. The idea to allow yourself to dream big is so freeing. For most of our lives we are told to be realistic and only set realistic expectations….but fail to realize we are limiting our potential in doing so. So let’s dream big and see what can happen.
This one actually made me cry. Needed to hear this one. This was such an eye opener for me.
Wonderful interview. She’s a hero🎉
