Thumbnail says its not 10k steps..but to conclude essentially the answer is 10k steps 😅
Walking baby! Park far, walk far, and keep food far.
Worked as an Elder Services case manager. My healthy older folks (80+) all said the same thing when i asked how they stayed healthy: "Just keep moving."
Gave up drinking, stopped eating out, walked 1 hour every night, played hockey 2x per week, weight lifted 1x per week. Lost 15lbs in 3 months, stubborn long term belly fat. 225-> 208 lbs.
I've recently discovered "ruck sacking" from "Life is A Special Operation". "Rucking" is less stressful to joints than running. I don't have a truck anymore. I use a rucksack to ride my bicycle to the store for groceries. I ride to work three to four times a week for my part-time job. I am a 68 year old disabled vet.
From 10/21 -12/10/24, I am down 17 lbs from IF 16/8 and an hour walk morning and evening on my walking pad with an 8lb walking vest. Starting weight 196 to 179. Im gonna keep going.
I'm 38 and hardly ever do cardio, hate it (I know I should) . But I've been weight training regularly ever scince I was 14 in that time with different phases. I'm not fat and do eat takeaways too. I'm just training now to maintain what I have and have all the physical and mental benefits. Don't forget to enjoy life and the people around you 💪. Remember if you don't look after yourself how can you look after the people around you.
My “whole food” meal plan is FREE. Teaches how to eat for fat loss, muscle building and longevity. http://www.thomasdelauer.com/eatrealfood - consider it my “thank you” for subscribing to my channel and newsletter!
Several months ago I began to incorporate a daily 4 mile walk outside in the sunshine (fairly brisk), along with my 1.5 hr weight resistance training. I’m putting on muscle and some weight but I’ve seen some loss of belly fat. I’m a 49-yr old male. I’m addition my annual blood testing showed Total T at 912 up from 798 a year earlier and up from 558 two years ago. Cholesterol at 148. Resting pulse of 48.
@03:40 "Check this shiznit out!" . Thomas is GOAT'd, several times over! 😂👏👏👏
